Rockcrawling trip to Big Bear

John Bull had been one of those bucket list trails for me for a long time. Rated as the hardest in the Big Bear area and billed as the socal version of the Rubicon (although much shorter) I couldn’t wait to get the K30Blazer out there with its new front links! Despite not having the E-Locker wired up and barging my way through with an open front diff I had a blast. The trail is challenging, the location epic, and the scenery beautiful.

We started the day with a run up Gold Mountain trail over to the start of the John Bull, made our way through to the first gatekeeper and had some lunch and attended to some overheating issues, before finishing up the trail and rallying home.

Great weekend, great trip. Cant wait to get back out here.
